About Spero Psychiatry and Counseling

At Spero Psychiatry and Counseling, the team of psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, and other masters level clinicians provide comprehensive mental health care to individuals and families in Gilbert, Arizona, and throughout Maricopa County.

The Spero Psychiatry and Counseling team understands the overwhelming need for quality mental health care. They take a patient-centered treatment approach focusing on relationship building and collaborative care.

People from all over the Valley of the Sun visit Spero Psychiatry and Counseling to receive diagnoses and treatment for various behavioral disorders, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Patients can also access specialized care, including parent coaching, therapy, and medication management. 

The team provides most treatments onsite but refers out for ketamine and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Spero Psychiatry and Counseling is conveniently located just off the new Lindsay Exit of the 202, on the corner of Lindsay and Pecos. The team speaks English and Spanish fluently and offers flexible appointments on afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays to accommodate different schedules.

We offer in-office visits and also offer the convenience of telemental health visits. In this visit, you are able to complete your visit from you own home, you will need a tablet/computer/telephone with internet access.

Providers are not in network with private insurance. Superbills to submit to insurances will be provided upon request. We do accept HSA and FSA accounts.
